Ismail Kartal is a Turkish football manager who currently manages Fenerbahçe in the Süper Lig. After working in Fenerbahçe's youth academy, his first experience as a head coach was with Kardemir Karabükspor. He led Sivasspor to the TFF 1. Lig championship, promoting them to the Süper Lig for the first time in their history. At the beginning of the 2017-18 season, he signed with Ankaragücü, finishing the season in second place and bringing them back to the Süper Lig after six seasons.
