Turkish head coach Erol Bulut: A former professional footballer who played in Türkiye, Germany, Greece and Ukraine, Erol Bulut began his coaching career in 2012. After working as an assistant coach at Kartalspor, Yeni Malatyaspor, Elazığspor and İstanbul Başakşehir, he became a head coach with Yeni Malatyaspor in 2017. He later managed Alanyaspor, Fenerbahçe, Gaziantep FK, Cardiff City and Antalyaspor.

About the Coach

Turkish coach Erol Bulut: Born on 31 January 1975 in Bad Schwalbach, Germany, Erol Bulut began his coaching career in 2012 after ending his playing career. He started at Kartalspor before working as an assistant coach at Yeni Malatyaspor, Elazığspor and İstanbul Başakşehir.

Bulut became a head coach for the first time at Yeni Malatyaspor in 2017. He guided the club to a strong first season in the Süper Lig and subsequently reached the Turkish Cup semi-finals during the 2018–2019 season. He then moved to Alanyaspor, where he led the club to fifth place in the Süper Lig and the Turkish Cup final in the 2019–2020 season.

He later managed Fenerbahçe, Gaziantep FK and Cardiff City before returning to Türkiye with Antalyaspor in October 2025. His Antalyaspor tenure ended on 17 December 2025.
