About the Coach

Turkish head coach Sergen Yalçın is one of the few figures in Turkish football to win the Süper Lig both as a player and as a coach with Beşiktaş.

As a coach, he guided Beşiktaş to the 2020–2021 Süper Lig championship and the Türkiye Kupası, completing a domestic double in the same season.

Yalçın has also managed Gaziantepspor, Sivasspor, Kayserispor, Eskişehirspor, Konyaspor, Alanyaspor, Yeni Malatyaspor and Antalyaspor during his coaching career.
