Mehmet Özdilek is a Turkish football manager and former professional player. Known as “Şifo Mehmet”, he spent the majority of his playing career at Beşiktaş and later moved into coaching. He has managed clubs including Antalyaspor, Gençlerbirliği, Çaykur Rizespor, Kayseri Erciyesspor, Konyaspor, BB Erzurumspor and Denizlispor, and has also worked as an assistant coach with the Turkish national team.

About the Coach

Mehmet Özdilek, known as “Şifo Mehmet”, is a Turkish football manager and former professional footballer. Born on 1 April 1966 in Samsun, he became one of Beşiktaş's most iconic players after joining the club in 1988. He ended his playing career in 2001 after 13 years with Beşiktaş and later began his coaching career. He managed Antalyaspor for several seasons and subsequently worked with Gençlerbirliği, Çaykur Rizespor, Kayseri Erciyesspor, Konyaspor, BB Erzurumspor and Denizlispor. In 2020, he guided BB Erzurumspor to promotion to the Süper Lig from the TFF 1. Lig. He also worked as an assistant coach with the Turkish national team.
